Everything You Need to Know About Ores in The Forge

Ores are the most important items in The Forge on Roblox. You mine them from rocks and use them to craft better weapons and armor. Each ore is different—some make your gear stronger (higher Multiplier), while others give you special powers (Traits). Knowing which ores to find and where to get them is the key to becoming powerful in the game.

Rarity Tiers Explained

Rarity tells you how hard an ore is to find. The rarer the ore, the stronger it usually is.

  • Common: Easy to find everywhere. Great for starting out.
  • Uncommon: A bit harder to find, but better stats than Common.
  • Rare: Harder to get, but gives your gear a nice power boost.
  • Epic: Very strong ores. Multipliers go up to over 2x!
  • Legendary: Super rare! These give massive damage boosts and cool effects.
  • Mythical: Almost the best you can get. Amazing for defense and high stats.
  • Divine: The rarest of them all (like Galaxite). Insane stats!
  • Relic: Special, unique ores with weird properties (like Fichillium).

Where to Find Ores (Mining Sources)

Not all rocks drop the same stuff.
For beginners, Pebbles and Rocks are your best friends.
If you want the really valuable ores, you need to find Basalt Veins or Volcanic Rocks. Some special ores only drop from monsters or specific Crystals. Check the "Rocks" column in the table above to see exactly where to look.

Special Powers (Trait Mechanics)

Some ores have "Traits," which are like bonus superpowers for your gear.
For example, Obsidian makes you tankier (more defense), while Eye Ore makes you hit harder but lowers your health. To activate these powers, you usually need to use enough of that specific ore when crafting your weapon or armor.

How to Read the Table

Ore Name: What the ore is called.
Rarity: How rare it is. (Common = Easy, Divine = Hard).
Chance: The odds of finding it. "1/5" means if you mine a compatible rock 5 times, you might find it once. "1/1000" means you need to be very lucky!
Multiplier: How strong it makes your gear. A higher number means better stats and a higher price.
Price: How much cash you get if you sell this ore in the shop.
Rocks: Where you can find this ore. Use this to know which rocks to mine.
Trait: The special passive ability the ore gives. (Like "Burn Damage" or "Extra Speed").
